There’s 2 agendas at play in the wilderness.

1. Satan wants to distract you from God and get you back to bondage (Egypt) 2. The Holy Spirit tries to bring us to “All we really need is God for our satisfaction and our joy”

Prayer is orienting ourselves under the guidance of God, so that we might be the salt/light of the world, and we might be His hands and feet in our community and society.

The wilderness season of our life has a purifying effect on those who walk through it well. “I will sustain you in the wilderness so that your faith may be proved.”
