Here David is nearing the end of his life and he is passing on the throne to his son Solomon. As a part of this ceremony David passes along to Solomon some final words of wisdom. What was once a scandal, that Christ would call unworthy sinners, will be made righteous by the power of His mercy and the potency of His love.
