Exodus 18 – Wisdom of a Stranger

Join Pastor Peter as he continues his study through the book of Exodus. In this teaching he explores how God provided freedom to the Israelites as He led them out of Egypt. True freedom is enjoyed in worship and obedience.

God is able to establish a family in a foreign land just as He did for Moses in the wilderness. God used Jethro, an outsider who was able to bring wisdom and counsel to Moses. It is a good reminder of how at times we need to listen to the counsel of others rather than hearing what we want to hear.

Ultimately, God is the Almighty Counselor. What does the Word of God have to say? Have a listen!
